In and around Montgomery

What draws many people to this area today is the particular beauty of the surroundings and the unique appeal of Montgomery, with it's intimate cafes and shops - not to mention the ruins of Montgomery castle with it's breathtaking views across the valley to Powis Castle and it's National Trust gardens.

The Mid-Wales coast is an hour & a half drive over beautiful mountain scenery which incorporates the source of the Severn & the Wye and for the beady eyed observer there are many red kites to be seen. We are very well placed for walkers as Offas Dyke is just a few hundred metres away.

For shopaholics Chester & Ludlow are easily accessible within the hour and Shrewsbury a very comfortable 30 minutes.

We are also just a 10 minute drive from mid-Wales' newest sporting attraction   ' Lakeside ' Golf Club  A brand new, superbly designed 9 hole course situated next to the river Severn. With it's own up to date relaxed and welcoming club house and restaurant sited on a rise with magnificent views overlooking the course, and serving food and drinks from breakfast  through to dinner.
