Caemwgal is a beautiful farmhouse set in stunning marches countryside near the historic border town of Montgomery. At 100 metres from Offas Dyke it offers ideal accommodation for walkers and motorists alike.

Caemwgal means Misty field and indeed on occasion (due to it's location near the river Camlad) it is surrounded by a low lying lazy mist. Adding poignancy to this is the extraordinary history of this field. During the civil war the Battle of Montgomery was fought on this very spot, and over 500 men lost their lives.

Our small holding is home to chickens, guinea fowl, goats, dogs, cats and any other creatures that may turn up on the doorstep - including the odd lost soul! All are very welcome.
